We display ads through Google AdMob to support the app. AdMob may collect and process data including:

Advertising & Monetization

📺Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display banner ads and rewarded video ads. AdMob is a third-party advertising platform that may collect data to serve personalized ads. This includes:

🎬Rewarded Video Ads

You can optionally watch video ads to receive a temporary 2x tap multiplier. These ads are completely voluntary - you never have to watch ads to use the core app functionality. Watching ads supports the development and maintenance of the app.

⚙️Control Your Ad Experience

You have control over ad personalization:

  • iOS 14.5+: When you first launch the app, iOS will ask for permission to track you across apps and websites. Denying this limits ad personalization.
  • Limit Ad Tracking:Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
  • Reset Advertising Identifier: Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Reset Advertising Identifier

How We Use Your Information

This is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes all banner and video ads from the app. Benefits include:

  • No banner ads displayed on the main screen
  • No video ads required for the 2x tap multiplier
  • Instant access to the 2x multiplier (every 5 minutes)
  • Purchase syncs across your devices via iCloud
  • Restore purchases option available in settings

All in-app purchase transactions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, process, or store your payment information. Apple handles all payment processing securely. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device you own.

Children's Privacy

Pointless Button is designed to be safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we don't collect personal information from anyone, the app is compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
